Recent updates to the Not Ordinarily Resident scheme
The Not Ordinarily Resident (NOR) scheme was introduced in 2002 with the objective of attracting and encouraging talent to relocate to Singapore. To enhance the effectiveness of the NOR scheme, a recent circular by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore announced changes to tax concessions under the NOR scheme, which have been analysed in this News Alert.
