About PwC International Assignment Services (IAS)

PwC regionalised its IAS practices in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam into a new regional business with effect from 1 July 2007.

The combined business will provide personal and expatriate tax compliance and consulting services; pension and social security compliance and consulting services; international mobility services; employment regulatory compliance and consulting services; immigration services; and employee reward advice and planning. 

Job description and responsibilities

  • Assisting clients in complying with their tax compliance obligations, including preparing and filing individual income tax returns and replying to Inland Revenue Department’s enquiries;
  • Providing consulting services to clients in the areas of personal tax, pension and social security and employee reward;
  • Develop and maintain client relationships; and
  • Providing coaching to junior team members.

Reporting structure and key relationships:

Reports to managers, senior managers 
 

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree or equivalent;
  • Minimum three years of experience in Hong Kong and US individual tax compliance and consulting work;
  • Qualified member of a professional accounting body would be an advantage;
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Fluency in Putonghua or ability to speak Japanese would be a plus;
  • Confident with a strong business sense;
  • Solid project management experience with strong analytical and organisational skills; and
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
